Roadmap

What is coming next?

Kajona is growing with every release - new features, new modules, optimizations...

The follwing bullet-points are only a small extract of the full list of fetatures. All details are available on our roadmap located at our ticket-system.

As of: 26.08.2011

For the upcoming release 3.4.1 we plan to implement:

• Adding a calendar-based view to the eventmanagers portal-view
• Rewrite of the internal user management, including a login architecture which makes it possible to use external user databases (e.g. LDAP)
• Supporting Oracle as database-backend by creating an oralce-driver
• Easyfied the handling of xml-providers (by using annotations)

Furthermore we plan to provide / realize:

• Update to YUI3 in the administration
• Optimization of the in-site-editing features based on HTML5 contentEditable
• Switch from YUI to jQuery in portal
• Using the page-structure for generating URLs (SEO)
• Extending the XML interfaces and harmonization of module-classes
• Creating an Android-app for special parts of the system
